Keegan came to PUP on the last Stockton transport. Our contact in Stockton told us in advance that something wasn’t right with him, but we often rescue dogs with medical needs and wanted to see if we could help. With testing, we unfortunately learned he had neurological problems we could not cure. With much love, snuggles and care from his foster family and our vets, he was kept comfortable and pain free.
As a rescue, we do all we can do to take the best care possible of our dogs. In this case, we are thankful that Keegan didn’t languish in pain in a shelter, that his foster family was there to shower him with love and care, and that he went peacefully into arms much greater than all ours combined.
You will be missed sweet Keegan, with all our love,
